What Is Patrice Truman's Legal and Research Background?

A member of the State Bar of California, Truman received her law degree from Illinois Institute of Technology, Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. Before becoming a jury and trial consulting professional in 1993, she worked for two civil litigation firms, gaining valuable insight into the legal process by supporting and collaborating with trial counsel.

Her professional experience also includes working as a research associate and focus group moderator at an international advertising agency in Chicago. There, she developed experience analyzing consumer research and assessing public sentiment within demographic parameters. Truman participated in the formulation of advertising campaigns for major corporate clients, including Amoco Oil Company, The American Dairy Association, Hallmark Corporation, and Kraft Foods.

This research background provides a valuable foundation for her work as an experienced jury consultant, particularly when evaluating juror perceptions, demographic considerations, and other factors that may influence how a case is understood.
